Early Mornings at Work = Ruined Sleep Schedule
I mentioned that I'm working days this week (and this week which just passed) and I thought I would get loads of sleep on the weekend.
I was wrong. Very wrong.
I consider myself to be a morning person, but I love my sleep. Before this past week of work I was sleeping in until 9 am. And now that a week of days has gone by.. Yesterday I was awake at 5:30 am, but I forced myself back to sleep, and didn't wake up until my mom banged on my door at 8 am telling me to get out of bed. This morning (Sunday) I woke up around 6:45 am (it is now just after 7) and I can honestly say that I haven't saw this time, on my own with no work to be at and no alarm, since I was in high school..
But I miss my good sleep schedule, at one point I had a record of sleeping until 10 am, but I just miss sleeping until 9 am. I'll get there again. After the end of next week (the week after this one) My sleep schedule may be sort of back to normal. Hopefully. I'll be working afternoons, so I won't be getting home until 11:30 pm and I'll get to sleep in (thankfully).
But this seems like a word to anyone. If you want to get used to waking up earlier, either work somewhere where you have to get up early and go to work, or just set an alarm for an early time, and get up to that for a couple days, and maybe you'll start getting up earlier.
