Weekend With My Cousin
It may or may not be known, but I was at my cousin's house for the weekend. She seemed to think I needed to "get out more".
I definitely got out more this weekend. Every day/night we went out with her, her boyfriend, and their friends.
The highlights of the weekend were watching fireworks the night of Canada Day, sitting by a river to watch them because it was easier to do that than to go to the park they were firing them off of. And the other highlight of the weekend was going to a campground for the afternoon to go on my cousin's blow up island on the water. It was a very relaxing two hours, until we came back in off the water, and I realized I had burnt (I have very fair skin, so it was going to happen, even though I did put on two coats of sunscreen).
I had a great weekend. I think their cat seemed to enjoy my company this past weekend, and I also think my cousin enjoyed the fact that she had decent competition playing Mario Cart™ because her and I were neck and neck for almost every race we played. It was so great.
This week I get to look forward to going to the dentist (tomorrow), and going to the college I'll be attending in the fall, for a head start program before school actually starts.
