I Don't Fit into the "Norm"
Way back when everything was always a certain way. But today, there are different genders people can accept themselves as and can usually be accepted. There's different sexualities, and people can be accepted that way too.
I've just recently come to accept that I am asexual. In case you don't know, that means that I'm not into "doing the nasty"/"doing the do" or however you phrase it. I've never liked the idea of it. I can be close with someone, and be romantic with them, but ask me to go further than that and I'll shrivel up. On the spectrum of asexuality, I find I fit best into the demisexual category. It is very similar to the overall spectrum, except for any sexual feelings may be formed after a strong emotional/friendship level has been formed. Sometimes the Sexual feelings are not formed at all. And I'm perfectly comfortable with that, since I'm not exactly comfortable with the idea, nor do I see the excitement in it.
If anyone reading this feels different, and if you also don't feel like you fit into the norm of society, don't worry about it. You are you, and no one can change that. The right people will accept you for being you, even if you are "different" in society's eyes.
