Why Writing?
Why do I write? What's so exciting about writing?
My answer to questions like that... I just find it calming, and it just suits who I am. Writing started when I was younger, and I was reading on a higher level than the other kids my age. I was always known as being a bookworm.
Throughout school we were told to write stories, some people were better at writing than others. My little stories were always a page and a half long (written on lined paper, every other line, only one paper). My stories were always like that until I reached grade 8. By then I got an assignment where I had to write a story that was 10-20 pages long, typed. It was crazy, I didn't think I would ever be able to reach the 10 page mark, but I did, I managed to make at least 12 pages typed, which was over 15 pages written. From there high school hit, and writing relieved me of many emotions I had throughout the years, and into today (when I found the time, and writer's block wasn't in the way). As of today my story has about 14 chapters, written by hand.
I also just personally love writing, it may have to play into my being a bookworm, or it may have to deal with my being introverted. Regardless I love to express myself through writing.
